Version 1.24 (22-May-2023)

For connected disks which have a cache, the cache is now always shown in the search location menu. This enables users to always search a disk's cache without searching the real connected disk.
Fixed a bug in regex processing.

Apple Mail messages can now be content searched. For example: : mail "text".
The entire contents of the mail messages is searched. This doesn't rely on Spotlight.
Folders can now be excluded from searches. For example: foo : excluding folder "path/path". You can exclude a favorite folder by putting
"-" infront of the favorite name. For example: foo : excluding folder -desktop

Version 1.9.3 (19-November-2021)

Added a "Start Searches Automatically" option to the preferences. Defaults to off. When off, press return to start the search.
Icon view is temporarily disabled. Will return in a future version.
Text Preview: To show the contents of text based files go to Windows -> "Show Text Preview" and click a file in the search results window.
You can now specify fractional file sizes. For example: "size 1.5mb".
To search for text content and exclude a word add "without". For example: content "foo" without "bar".
To exclude files with a particular extension add "not". For example: not ".jpg"

Deselecting an item in the "Add Criteria" menu now removes it from the query.
Experimental: Added "Match Similar Sounding Words" to the "Add Criteria" menu. This performs a sound match on words in the file name. For example, searching for "fish" will match with "fsh". It will increased the time taken for searches dramatically.
